acciohedwig: “Going to wish me luck on today’s match, Lily?” asked James, stuffing some bacon in his mouth. “No,” Lily replied simply, not taking her eyes off The Daily Prophet. “If we lose today, I’m blaming it on your lack of luck Prongs,” said Sirius with a grin. “Come on Lily, have a little pity on our team. Your luck could decide our fate,” James pleaded. Lily placed the paper down, and looked at the chaser and beater of the Gryffindor team. “Not to mention, you wishing him luck may give him the luck he needs to get in your- OUCH!” Sirius yelped, after Lily kicked him in the shin. Both Lily and James turned red and averted eye contact, earning laughter from Sirius. “You two are too cute.” Sirius said in a voice that resembled Madam Puddifoot’s. “I’m going to wish James luck, and I’m going to wish terrible, terrible things on you Black,” said Lily, trying to keep her face stern but a smile was quickly replacing her glare. She then stood up, kissed James on his cheek, then shot another glare at Sirius who winked at her in return.
